Sørine Gotfredsen (born 1967 in Hadsten) is a Danish parish priest, author and public intellectual who trained as both a journalist and a theologian at the University of Copenhagen. Since the early 2000s she has been a regular contributor to Kristeligt Dagblad and a prominent voice in Danish cultural and religious debate. Her books range from novels and essay collections to Bible studies, and she hosts the podcast "Sørine & Livskraften".
The book "Conversations about Life Force" was published on November 11, 2025 - based on Gotfredsen's podcast and featuring 19 conversations with, among others, Mette Frederiksen, Suzanne Brøgger and Claus Meyer.
Gotfredsen appeared at Bogforum 2025, where she signed "Conversations about Life Force" after a conversation at the fair.
Gotfredsen gave a lecture in Lillerød Church about her book "Life Force" and the meeting between Grundtvig and Kim Larsen.
The book "50 Bible Texts You Should Know" received a positive review in Kristeligt Dagblad, which praised Gotfredsen's interpretation of the Bible as a unified narrative.
