Sofie Isager Ahl (born 1988) is a Danish author, translator, and anthropologist with a PhD in anthropology. Since her debut with Naboplanter (2018) she has built a body of work that moves between literary prose, field research, and ecological thinking - centred on regenerative farming, biodiversity, and the myths that shape our relationship with the earth. Her books are published by the Laboratory for Aesthetics and Ecology and Forlaget Virkelig, and have been translated into Norwegian and Swedish.
The poetry collection elegier over jorden was premiered as a cross-disciplinary performance concert at the Glyptotek's Festsal in Copenhagen - three sold-out performances with soprano Katinka Fogh Vindelev and 70 singers from Sankt Annæ Pigekor.
