About

Stormwitch are a German heavy metal band from Heidenheim, founded in 1981 by guitarist Harald Spengler (Lee Tarot) and vocalist Andy Mück (Andy Aldrian). Dubbed 'Masters of Black Romantic' by their fanbase, they built their reputation on a distinctive mix of melodic metal, gothic imagery and fantasy-driven lyrics, placing them alongside contemporaries like Helloween in the 1980s German metal scene. After seven albums and a split in 1994, they reunited in 2002 and have remained active since, with Mück as the constant core.
