Sunset Boulevard is a musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber, with lyrics and book by Don Black and Christopher Hampton, based on Billy Wilder's 1950 film of the same name. It follows faded silent-film star Norma Desmond, who lives in deluded isolation in her crumbling Hollywood mansion until a struggling young screenwriter disrupts her world.
