Svend Brinkmann (born 1975) is a professor of psychology at Aalborg University and one of Denmark's most widely read public intellectuals. His 2014 book "Stå fast" (Stand Firm) - a satirical counter-argument to self-help culture - sold over 80,000 copies in Denmark and has been translated into around 20 languages. Beyond academia, he hosts a programme on DR P1, writes a column for Politiken, and tours Denmark with the live show "Hvad er der NU galt?" alongside satirist Frederik Cilius.
