Taagebue is the solo dungeon synth project of Garðarsson, a musician and visual artist from Aalborg, Denmark, who also plays in the black metal bands Ildskær and Í Myrkri. The project draws on esoteric Danish folklore, conjuring imagery of misty forests, marsh spirits and will-o'-the-wisps. The debut album 'Soltaagens Skikkelser' appeared digitally in autumn 2021 and was later pressed as a Pro-Tape on Gondolin Records in 2022, limited to 150 numbered copies. Taagebue made its live debut at Lasher Fest 2024, performing aboard the decommissioned Cold War submarine 'Springeren' in Aalborg.
