Teddy Swims is the stage name of American singer-songwriter Jaten Dimsdale from Georgia, whose powerful voice draws on soul, R&B and pop. He first caught attention in 2019 by posting covers on YouTube, which led to a deal with Warner Records in 2020. His debut album "I've Tried Everything But Therapy" (released in two parts, 2023-2025) broke him globally, driven by "Lose Control" - a Billboard Hot 100 number one and the year's biggest song in the US in 2024. He received a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist at the 67th Grammy Awards in 2025.
Teddy Swims released the single "Mr. Know It All" on April 10, 2026 via Warner Records and gave the song its live premiere at Coachella the same weekend.
Teddy Swims performed at the American Music Awards 2026, where he was nominated for Collaboration of the Year for the single "Gone Gone Gone" with David Guetta and Tones And I.
"Lose Control" set a record as the first song ever to spend 100 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Hot 100.
