Testament are an American thrash metal band from Berkeley, California, formed in 1983 under the name Legacy. Fronted by Chuck Billy and guitarist Eric Peterson, they broke through with their 1987 debut 'The Legacy' and have since released fourteen studio albums, cementing their reputation as one of the Bay Area's most enduring thrash acts. Their fourteenth record, 'Para Bellum', arrived in October 2025 to widespread critical acclaim.

Testament completed a European tour in October 2025 with Obituary, Destruction and Nervosa as support acts.
