About
The Longest Johns are a Bristol-based folk group known for their a cappella sea shanties and traditional folk songs. Their 2021 TikTok-viral rendition of "Wellerman" sparked a global shanty revival and led to a deal with Decca Records. The current trio - Andy Yates, Jonathan "JD" Darley and Robbie Sattin - have since built a devoted international following through relentless touring and a strong digital presence, releasing their sixth studio album "Ends of the Earth" in 2026.
