The Swinging Sisters

About

The Swinging Sisters are sisters Signe, Karen and Inger Juhl, a Danish close-harmony vocal trio formed in 2016 with a repertoire rooted in the jazz and swing traditions of the 1920s to 1940s. Drawing inspiration from The Boswell Sisters and The Andrews Sisters, they perform American evergreens alongside Danish songs, accompanied by guitarist Bo Møller. The trio performs both independently and as part of the Signe Juhl Quartet, including the annual 'Swinging Christmas' tour, and has played venues across Denmark from Bornholm to Hirtshals.
