Thomas Dybdahl is a Norwegian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, born on 12 April 1979 in Sandnes. He launched his solo career with the 2002 debut album ...That Great October Sound and has since released more than ten albums spanning folk, soul and indie pop, earning multiple Spellemannprisen awards - Norway's equivalent of the Grammy - as well as a Grammy nomination. He is also known for his film scores and as the frontman of the supergroup The National Bank.
