Thomas Dybdahl is a Norwegian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, born on 12 April 1979 in Sandnes. He launched his solo career with the 2002 debut album ...That Great October Sound and has since released more than ten albums spanning folk, soul and indie pop, earning multiple Spellemannprisen awards - Norway's equivalent of the Grammy - as well as a Grammy nomination. He is also known for his film scores and as the frontman of the supergroup The National Bank.
Dybdahl released the single 'Sunshine (Cigarettes & Cheap Wine)' in 2026 and has 22 upcoming concerts scheduled.
The album 'Null Kjærlighet' was released in 2025 - a collection of Dybdahl's versions of songs from the TV show 'Hver gang vi møtes'.
Dybdahl performed in December 2025 at Store VEGA in Copenhagen and at TRAIN in Aarhus as part of a larger Scandinavian tour.
2025 was a busy live year for Dybdahl with concerts at, among others, Sentrum Scene in Oslo (two evenings) and Håkonshallen in Bergen.
The album 'Teenage Astronauts' was released on 15 March 2024, produced with Larry Klein and featuring the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra.
