TootArd
TootArd brings electronic music and live performance to VoxHall.
TootArd is a band from Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights, founded by brothers Hasan and Rami Nakhleh, now based between Bern and Haifa. They blend desert blues, reggae, psychedelic rock and classical Arabic modalities into what they call 'Mountain Roots Rock'. Their three albums - Nuri Andaburi (2011), Laissez Passer (2017) and Migrant Birds (2020) - reflect the band's experience as stateless people from the occupied Golan. They have toured extensively across Europe, the Middle East and South America.
TootArd played three concerts in Brazil in early October 2025, including two evenings at SESC Avenida Paulista in São Paulo and one in Jundiaí.
The band performed at KED in Beirut on August 8, 2025 - one of the first live concerts in Lebanon in recent times.
TootArd was on a European tour in November 2025 with stops in Oslo, Brixton and Utrecht.
TootArd performed at the Gurten festival in Bern in July 2024.
TootArd played at Den Grå Hal in Copenhagen in February 2024.
