TV-2 is a Danish pop/rock band from Aarhus, formed in 1981 by Steffen Brandt (vocals, keyboards), Hans Erik Lerchenfeld (guitar), Georg Olesen (bass) and Sven Gaul (drums) - the same lineup to this day. With over two million records sold and 20 studio albums, they rank among the most commercially successful Danish bands of all time. Brandt's songwriting - ironic, precise observations of Danish everyday life and the middle class - has turned songs like 'Nærmest lykkelig' and 'Hele verden fra forstanden' into genuine national anthems.
TV-2 played on Orange Scene at Roskilde Festival for the first time in 25 years, and according to reviewers, the concert was the festival's great, unifying experience.
