VoA - Voices of Aarhus X Stemmer Bygger Bro
VoA - Voices of Aarhus, a 30-voice choir, performs works spanning Danish tradition to contemporary compositions as part of the 'Stemmer Bygger Bro' initiative.
VoA - Voices of Aarhus is a rhythmic a cappella choir founded in autumn 2025 and led by conductor and vocal educator Tine Fris-Ronsfeld, a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus. Its 30 hand-picked singers are all seasoned figures from the Danish choral scene, performing a repertoire that stretches from Aarhus and Nordic roots to original works composed specifically for VoA. Fris-Ronsfeld is internationally recognised for her work with, among others, Vocal Line - winners of Eurovision Choir of the Year 2019 - and the vocal ensemble Postyr.
VoA performs at Aarhus Festuge with an excerpt from the program 'A Different Kind of Human' at a concert at Dokk1 as part of the project 'Stemmer Bygger Bro'.
VoA has been selected as one of the artists for Aarhus Vocal Festival 2026, Scandinavia's largest festival for rhythmic vocal music.
VoA - Voices of Aarhus was officially founded in November 2025 under the artistic direction of Tine Fris-Ronsfeld.
The association VoA - Voices of Aarhus was registered in the CVR on 22 October 2025 with Tine Fris-Ronsfeld as the association representative.
