Debut Fest: Vølve
Vølve presents their debut album at Debut Fest on BRØK, showcasing emerging Danish music talent.
VØLVE is the project of Copenhagen-based musician Helene Navne, who crafts cinematic, atmospheric music rooted in Nordic ritual folk and dark folk. The name comes from Norse mythology, where the vølve was the female seer or priestess - both revered and feared for her foresight and spiritual authority. Her sound layers ethereal vocals, neoclassical strings and dark textures drawn from Norse mythology and the sacred feminine. Live, she performs as a duo or quintet depending on the occasion, always with a ritualistic arc at the core.
VØLVE released its fourth single 'Morning' in March 2026.
VØLVE released the double single 'Vølvens Sang / Jeg Ser' in September 2025, tied to the myth of Ragnarök.
VØLVE performed outdoors at Wild Women Festival as part of a ritualistic performance in the rain.
VØLVE released its second single 'Les Trois Amies' in January 2025.
VØLVE debuted with the single 'Enter the Unknown' in October 2024.
