We Are The Catalyst are a Swedish alternative metal band from Varberg, formed in 2012 by vocalist Cat Fey and guitarist Kenny Boufadene. They combine heavy guitars with electronics and cinematic atmospheres, and have toured festival and club stages across Europe, the UK and Asia entirely independently. Their fifth studio album, Friction, came out in November 2024 to strong reviews, including a 9/10 from Sweden Rock Magazine.
We Are The Catalyst announced a British headline tour in February 2026 - their first in the United Kingdom in seven years - in support of an upcoming sixth album expected to be released in early summer 2026.

The band entered into a collaboration with the German booking agency Dr Music Booking and prepared to resume touring activities in 2025 after a break since 2019.
