New Year Concert with Wienertrioen
Wienertrioen performs a New Year concert featuring classic melodies from their many New Year's balls, with stories and champagne.
Wienertrioen is a Danish piano trio - violin, cello and piano - that has kept alive the salon music tradition of 19th-century Vienna since the early 2000s, playing waltzes, table music, polkas and dance melodies. The ensemble is anchored by violinist Anne Marie Kjærulff of the DR Symphony Orchestra, with cello and piano players varying by occasion. Since 2005 the trio has been the resident ensemble at the annual New Year's gala at Nødebo Kro, and they also perform at weddings, corporate events and lecture-concerts across Denmark.
Nødebo Kro announced the cultural calendar for the 2026-27 season, where Wienertrioen is listed with a salon music concert on January 10, 2027.
Kultunaut also shows a Wienertrioen concert at Nødebo Kro on November 29, 2026, where the trio presents melodies from over twenty New Year's balls.
Wienertrioen performed at the New Year's gala celebration at Nødebo Kro on Saturday, January 13, 2024, with table music, Les Lanciers, and Viennese waltz.
Nødebo Kro's cultural program for the 2024-25 season confirmed Wienertrioen as a regular feature at the grand New Year's gala celebration in January.
