About the venue

ÅmoseScenen is an artistic platform that stages site-specific performances, concerts and exhibitions in and around the Åmose wetlands of West Zealand. All projects are rooted in sustainable principles, with the natural landscape as their central element. The platform was set up to bring cultural experiences to communities far from established venues. Its first production was the audio performance JORD, in which audiences walked into the bog wearing headphones and heard its history told.
