Askov Efterskole is a creative boarding school in the village of Askov, about 3 km west of Vejen in southern Jutland. It offers year 9 and 10 tuition across seven creative specialist lines: music, theatre, musical, animation, game design, art & design, and creative writing. Founded in 2001 by people connected to the neighbouring Askov Højskole, the two schools share a board and finances but operate independently. Each year the students stage a large musical and theatre production that draws more than 1,500 audience members in total.
