About the venue

The scout house in Sødalen is home to the Thøger Larsen Gruppe, part of Det Danske Spejderkorps in Lemvig. The group was formed in 1973 by merging the boys' Thøger Larsen Trop, founded in 1941, with a girls' troop that was even older. Weekly scout meetings take place here, with a strong emphasis on outdoor life - sessions are often held outside, winter included. The house also serves as a gathering point for local events and walks in the hilly glacial landscape around Lemvig Sø.
