About the venue

Dokk1 is Aarhus's central public library and citizen-services hub, sitting on the waterfront at Hack Kampmanns Plads. Designed by Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects and opened in 2015, it ranks among the largest public libraries in northern Europe. The building regularly hosts lectures, exhibitions, concerts and community events.
