About the venue

Flaskeskibsmuseet in Ærøskøbing is dedicated to the folk art of building ships in bottles. The collection was assembled by local sailor Peter Jacobsen, who spent a lifetime crafting and collecting hundreds of bottled vessels. Housed in one of the town's old half-timbered buildings, it ranks among the most distinctive small museums in Denmark.
