Solfestival
A one-day festival celebrating the sun, nature, and cultural heritage through music, art, and community at Fugledegaard.
Fugledegaard - Tissø Vikingecenter sits on the western shore of Tissø lake within Naturpark Åmosen and tells the story of one of northern Europe's richest Viking-Age settlements. The site was occupied from around 550 to 1050 CE, and excavations have uncovered chieftain residences, ritual areas and more than 15,000 artefacts. The main building houses an exhibition, a café and a shop, while outside there are shelters, firesides, a bird hide and a lookout tower over the lake. The outdoor grounds are freely accessible year-round.
