Gladsaxe Stadion on Gladsaxevej in Søborg was built between 1937 and 1940 and opened on 26 May 1940 under the name Gladsaxe Idrætspark Marielyst. The complex was designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen, with landscaping by G. N. Brandt. It holds 13,507 spectators, of whom 7,707 have covered seats, and serves as the home ground of Akademisk Boldklub and the American football team Nordic Storm. Alongside the main pitch, the site includes artificial and natural grass fields and facilities for a range of other outdoor activities.
