Øster Hurup Havn is a marina with room for around 200 vessels that also serves as a small fishing harbour. It sits as the only headland along a 30 km stretch of coastline between the Limfjord and Mariager Fjord. In summer the harbour hosts events including open-air music evenings, and a fish shop, café and beach are close at hand. The harbour was founded in 1972 and is run by a voluntary association.
