About the venue

Kattegatcentret in Grenaa is Denmark's only shark-focused aquarium, home to more than 50 marine species - including sand tiger sharks in a large walk-through tunnel. It opened in 1993 and serves as both a visitor attraction and an educational centre for the marine life of the Kattegat and surrounding seas. The centre also hosts lectures and school programmes throughout the year.
