Louisiana Museum of Modern Art sits on the Øresund coast in Humlebæk, about 35 km north of Copenhagen, and ranks among Denmark's most visited museums. Its collection covers postwar modernism through contemporary art, while the low-slung buildings wind through a coastal landscape so that architecture and nature are inseparable. The museum also hosts concerts, literary events and film screenings.
