Værftets Madmarked is a street food market that opened in May 2017 inside one of the halls of the former Helsingør Shipyard. The space features high ceilings hung with old nautical materials and boats, while a second hall pays tribute to the shipyard era through gold-framed portraits of former workers. The Culture Yard and the Danish Maritime Museum are immediate neighbours, with Kronborg Castle close by.
