Vester Skerninge Bibliotek is a local branch of Svendborg Bibliotek, housed at Vestermarkskolen. In 2017 it moved to new premises and switched to an open-library model, allowing registered borrowers to use the facilities via self-service outside staffed hours. The branch offers internet access, a printer and a photocopier, and is part of Svendborg Bibliotek's network of local libraries across Funen.
