Monthly film screenings at Viby Library with discussion afterwards. Free admission.
Cosmos is Viby Sjælland's cultural centre, which opened in autumn 2021 and brings together a public library, citizen services, the Ramsøegnen local history archive and the voluntary association KulturCosmos under one roof. The library occupies the first floor as a single open plan, while the ground floor hosts concerts, theatre, talks and other events run jointly by Roskilde Libraries and KulturCosmos. The building was designed by Christensen & Co Arkitekter and Primus Arkitekter; the white ceramic tiles on the facade reference the dairy cooperative that once stood on the site. Cosmos won the Popular Choice prize in the Community Centers category at the international Architizer A+ Awards.
