Kulturhuset Vig Bio in Vig traces its roots to 1923, when Lauritz and Laura Pedersen ran a small cinema as part of a temperance hotel on Hovedgaden. When the cinema faced closure in the mid-1980s, local enthusiasts joined forces and founded a community cinema association in 1985 - keeping the last cinema in Odsherred alive. Today the venue operates as a cultural centre with film screenings, special events and a café, and is affiliated with Biografklub Danmark.
