Lars Hedelius-Strikkertsen (b. 1973) is a classical guitarist trained at the Southern Danish Academy of Music, where he studied under Jesper Sivebæk and completed his education in 2006. He has since specialized in historical guitars - particularly the Baroque guitar and early 19th-century guitar - and has performed in England, Germany, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. He is co-founder of Duo Suonante, which performs music for voice and guitar from the first half of the 19th century, and has collaborated with the royal opera singers Guido Paevatalu and Djina Mai Mai. Lars is also a member of CordEVocali, which performs Baroque music for voice, viola da gamba, theorbe, guitar, and percussion.
At this concert he plays a Baroque guitar (replica of an instrument from c. 1670) and an original French guitar from 1815.
