KOLLAPSE + Scimitar & Unavailing Void

KOLLAPSE

Over the past decade, Kollapse grew into something beyond the members' control. Two full-length LPs, a split album, and concerts across Europe - including a tour with American band Great Falls and a major performance on the main stage at Roskilde Festival 2025 - marked the band's trajectory. Then core member, guitarist, singer and creative force Peter Clement Lund died of cancer, leaving deep scars on the Danish extreme music scene.

With only the two founding members remaining, Peter Drastrup and Thomas Martin Vestenbæk Hansen had to reinvent the band from scratch. They abandoned the power trio format and moved deeper into unsettling sounds and expression. Kollapse is now an experimental duo, built on friendship and a willingness to explore and break down personal boundaries.

Scimitar

Formed in 2024 by veterans of the Copenhagen underground scene - including members of Slaegt, Gam and Shaam Larein - Scimitar released their debut LP in February 2025. Now they return with the follow-up Scimitarium II, released on vinyl and digitally via Crypt of the Wizard.

Unavailing Void

Unavailing Void is a new musical entity from Copenhagen, formed in spring 2026 by Jacob Bredahl (ex-Hatesphere, Smertegrænsens toldere, Dead Rat Studios), Søren Bomand (Eyes, St. Dique) and Martin Leth Andersen (Undergang, Strychnos). The band has already released a 7" EP via Deadbangers Records and is working towards a series of Danish concerts and the recording of a full-length album. Expect an uncompromising mix of metal genres and a pitch-black lyrical universe.
