Spaces Between is a choreographic performance where five wire artists meet a live string quintet performing an original composition by Birke J Bertelsmeier. The performance moves at the intersection of circus, dance, contemporary music, and visual art - seeking to reveal the fragility, tension, and poetry of these forms.

The project is a work in progress supported by Nordic Culture Point and the Finnish Cultural Institute in Denmark. The residency is further supported by the Danish Arts Foundation as part of the Musical Drama Network and by Odense Municipality.

About the venue: Dynamo - Workspace for circus and performing art

DYNAMO opened in January 2017 in a converted grain warehouse at Odense Harbour and serves as a stage and workspace for contemporary circus and physical performing arts. Its 1,300 m² accommodate 15-20 national and international circus companies in residency each year, alongside guest performances, work-in-progress showings and masterclasses. The venue was founded by circus artists Gry Lambertsen and Rune Vadstrøm Andersen and hosts the annual DYNAMO Circus Festival.
