BACH WEEK #2 GOLDBERG VARIATIONS Allan Rasmussen

In 1741, Johann Sebastian Bach published an Aria with 30 variations as the fourth part of his "Clavierübung" - the work that tradition has since called the Goldberg Variations. The concert lasts approximately one hour.

Allan Rasmussen, appointed Castle Organist at Frederiksborg Castle Church in 2020 and one of Denmark's leading harpsichordists, performs the work in its original form: for harpsichord with two manuals.

Doors open 30 minutes before the concert starts. Any remaining tickets are sold at the door.
