Kruskelusk - a non-verbal circus monologue
Dynamo - Workspace for circus and performing art, Odense · 0–600 kr. · ≈ 80 €
A woman falls - and wakes up inside herself. This is the starting point for 'Kruskelusk', a physical circus performance that moves in the borderland between the surreal and the corporeal, with aerial acrobatics and Chinese pole as its core elements.
In the inner space she inhabits - suspended between a possible ending and a new beginning - a different form of communication emerges. The performance circles around instincts, self-awareness and illusion, and is told without words.
The performance is created and performed by Lisa Lou Ødegaard, with Sampo Kurppa as outside eye and co-creator. Matthieu Bonnecuelle and Karoline Wallace have contributed to the music, Kenneth Danielsen to the lighting.
