Parlons de ... Delphine de Vigan

On Thursday, December 3rd at 7:30 PM, Morgane Dahrup-Andersson, literature enthusiast and instructor at Institut français, will give a lecture on Delphine de Vigan - one of the most widely read authors in contemporary French literature.

Delphine de Vigan achieved breakthrough success with the novel "Rien ne s'oppose à la nuit" ("Nothing Stands in the Way of the Night", 2011), which has sold over 1.5 million copies in France. Her books have been translated into many languages and have also found a large audience in Denmark. Morgane will explore central themes in her work - family, memory, and human vulnerability - drawing on works such as "D'après une histoire vraie" ("Based on a True Story", 2015) and "Les Enfants sont rois" ("The Children Are Kings", 2021).

The lecture is held in easily understandable French and takes place at Institut français du Danemark, Rolighedsvej 37, Frederiksberg. Price: 125 DKK (ticket fee included).
