Torben Chris: LatterLIG

Torben Chris returns to the stage with his fourth one-man show, LatterLIG. Subtitled "humor will rise again", the show tackles the self-righteous tendencies of our time and the absurdities of political correctness - all the things many people think but don't say out loud.

Torben Chris describes the past 8-10 years as difficult for a man with his sense of humour. He has had to withstand social media shitstorms to maintain his right to mock the spirit of the age. As he puts it himself: "If a trend, a law, or a politician is ridiculous, surely I'm allowed to call it ridiculous, especially when done as a joke. For years we haven't been able to make a joke about women perhaps buying slightly more candles than men on average without being accused of being a sexist asshole with a stereotypical view of women."

Now the wind seems to be turning - but if the time isn't quite ready yet, Torben Chris, as he has always been, couldn't care less.
