Den Syvende Søn

Den Syvende Søn is a Danish beat orchestra led by Michel Belli, whose distinctive vocals and lyrical texts create a warm retro sound rooted in 1960s beat and psychedelic rock.

Following a 2024 tour, the band has worked intensively on a new album centred on themes of sorrow and hope. Michel Belli, who has lost both his parents, says of the album: "It is an album that both honours the past and looks forward. We have taken a step further musically, and working with Jonas Breum has opened new doors." About the single 'En Sidste Sang' (2023), Simon Staun wrote in Fyns Stiftstidende: "Michel and Peter Belli sing 'En sidste sang' so movingly that not a dry eye remains on the album 'Alt på spil', which cements Den Syvende Søn's lyrical and musical qualities."

The band consists of Michel Belli (vocals), Adam Winberg (drums), Tobias Winberg (bass), Mads Jensen (keys) and Mikkel Grue (guitar).
