Mungo Park brings their new album Tronfølger to Taastrup Teater & Musikhus on Friday, 11 September 2026. The concert is free and takes place at Kjeld Abells Plads in Taastrup, where the municipal theatre and music venue serves as a cultural hub for the area. This is one of three Danish dates the band has scheduled for autumn and winter. The venue, established in 1975, has grown into an important cultural space for the region, hosting both theatrical and musical performances.

About the venue: Taastrup Teater & Musikhus

Taastrup Teater & Musikhus is a municipal theatre and music venue on Kjeld Abells Plads in Taastrup. It was founded in 1975 as Høje-Taastrup Teater and gained regional theatre status in 1982. The building is a converted gymnasium from the former Selsmoseskolen. In 2016 it took its current name to reflect a broader programme that pairs concerts and popular music with theatre.

Allerød's home-grown repertory theatre - the only one of its kind in Denmark - builds each season from scratch around new writing and a permanent acting ensemble. Since Anna Malzer took over in 2019, the company now performs across four municipalities surrounding Copenhagen.
