Jette Torp presents a musical lecture where the audience is welcome to knit along - or simply sit and listen. She sings songs that are personally meaningful to her and shares stories from her own life: about the books on her shelf, the people who have left their mark, and the stories behind the songs. There is time for questions and conversation throughout. 🧶

Tickets cost 120 kr. for members of the Library Club and 145 kr. for others - coffee, tea and cake are included. Knitting materials are welcome, but not required.

The event is arranged in collaboration with Snertinge Library Group. Tickets are not refunded after purchase unless the organizer cancels.

About the venue: Biblioteksinfo Snertinge

Biblioteksinfo Snertinge is an unstaffed library point run by Kalundborg Biblioteker, housed inside Aktivitetscenter Vesterlunden in Snertinge. There is no book lending, but visitors can find information about library services, browse reading inspiration and pick up leaflets on digital resources. The venue also hosts talks, concerts and other cultural events in collaboration with the local library group.

About: Jette Torp

Rooted in a conservatory education and a breakthrough alongside Finn Nørbygaard in the 1990s, Jette Torp has since released a string of solo albums and toured Denmark extensively. These days she favours smaller venues - churches, village halls and cultural centres - where songs and personal stories from her long career take centre stage.
