Benny Lorentsen - The History of the Moped

Benny Lorentsen takes the audience on a journey through the moped's history - from when it was everyone's possession, through a period of obscurity, to its resurrection today as a cultural-historical collectible and lifestyle symbol. He explores the communities and clubs that the moped has inspired, and examines what it concretely takes to produce spare parts for machines that are more than half a century old. The evolution of moped brands over time is also part of the programme.

The event takes place on Wednesday, November 11, 2026. From 6:00 PM, pulled pork burgers with potato wedges are served, and the lecture itself runs from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a coffee break in between. Beer, water, and wine can be purchased at the bar.
