Lauge Hendriksen and Mads Strandberg Pedersen place Hergé's iconic character in a historical perspective - from colonialism and world wars to the space race and modernity. The two host the Tintin podcast, apparently Denmark's only podcast dedicated to Tintin, which has received many positive reviews.

Tickets cost 75 kr. for members of Biblioteksklubben and 95 kr. at regular price. Tickets are not refunded after purchase unless the organizer cancels.

Kalundborg Bibliotek og Borgerservice is the main library of Kalundborg municipality, situated on Klostertorvet 2, with separate adult and children's sections as well as citizen services. The reading room offers newspapers and magazines, while the basement holds non-fiction, CDs, DVDs, sheet music and old local newspapers. A makerspace with 3D printers and rotating art exhibitions round out the facilities; the library is one of eight branches in the municipal network.
