Library Club Café Evening - Course: Online Access to Newspapers and Magazines

Kalundborg Library's café evening focuses on three digital services available free to all borrowers.

PressReader gives access to over 7,000 foreign newspapers and magazines from 120+ countries in 60 languages, including a selection in Danish. eReolen Global offers English-language books, over 200 popular English magazines, and some Danish titles. Retriever is a database of Danish newspapers, but for licensing reasons is only accessible at the library.

If you need help setting up apps so the services work from home, assistance is available during the evening - bring your PC, tablet, or smartphone, and remember your device login details.

The instruction is led by a librarian or cultural mediator from the library and takes place in the Blue Room. Free entry, but registration is required by 24 September. You must live in Kalundborg Municipality and be registered as a borrower at Kalundborg Libraries.
