About the venue: Spillestedet Generator

Generator is a non-profit music venue and cultural centre in Ringkøbing, with a concert capacity of up to 450 guests. It is run by the self-governing institution DSI Generator and the volunteer association Medspil, which draws on more than 150 volunteers. Alongside live concerts, the venue offers rehearsal rooms for local bands. The Danish Arts Foundation has designated Generator as one of ten network venues in Denmark.

Nordkraft Big Band won the Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Composition for the piece "First Snow" at the 68th Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles on February 1, 2026, in collaboration with conductor Remy Le Boeuf and vocalist Danielle Wertz.

On October 10, 2025, Nordkraft Big Band released the album "Everyday Synesthesia: Sonic Pictures", created in collaboration with DMA-winning musician and composer Rasmus Holm.

On November 23, 2025, Nordkraft Big Band organized the very first Northern Jutland Big Band Day, where 125 big band musicians of all ages from all over Northern Jutland gathered for workshops and joint performances.

Raised in a musical household in Lemvig and trained in Esbjerg and New York, Sinne Eeg has become one of the Nordic region's most decorated jazz singers - four Danish Music Awards, the Ben Webster Prize, and the French Prix du Jazz among her credits, with stages ranging from Tokyo clubs to New York's Dizzy's Club.
