About the venue: Anexet

Anexet is the cultural centre at Lundsgaard Gods near Kerteminde, housed in the estate's historic farm buildings from 1887-1890 following a major restoration. Run by a volunteer association, it hosts concerts, art exhibitions, lectures, theatre, seasonal markets and conferences for up to 350 guests. The café opens on Saturdays and Sundays, and the venue sits close to both forest and sea.

About: Dawda Jobarteh

Dawda Jobarteh carries one of West Africa's oldest musical lineages, yet his kora sound was shaped in Denmark, where he has lived since 1999 and built his own crossroads between Gambian griot music, jazz and rock. With four albums on the British label Sterns Music and collaborations spanning genres and continents, he is a well-established presence on the Danish music scene.
