Library Club Café Evenings - Mikkel Svane Cramer: From Billund to Barcelona - 4,000 km on Foot

Mikkel Svane Cramer shares the story of his summer 2024 journey, when he walked nearly 4,000 kilometers from Billund to Barcelona. He set out on April 15, 2025 with a backpack and tent - without fixed accommodation plans - and reached his destination after 93 days and more than ten countries.

Each day he covered between 30 and 60 kilometers and came close to giving up several times. Along the way he met strangers who offered him food and shelter. The lecture explores courage and determination, but also humanity's desire to help one another.

The event takes place in Det Grønne Rum. Tickets cost 95 kr. (75 kr. for Library Club members) and include the lecture, coffee, tea and pastries. Tickets are non-refundable after purchase - except if the organizer cancels the event.
