Bus tour to the Danish Poor Relief Museum and Sprogø

Kalundborg Library and LOF Nordvestsjælland organize a guided bus tour with two stops: the Danish Care History Museum near Slagelse and the island of Sprogø.

At the care museum, there is a brief introduction followed by approximately one hour of free exploration. In Korsør, a guide boards the bus, and the tour continues to Sprogø, where there is approximately two hours of guided tour - including access to areas normally closed to the public. Along the way, sandwiches, cold drinks, and ice coffee/iced tea are served, and on the return journey there is beer or water. A tour leader accompanies the group all day.

Departure from Banegårdspladsen in Kalundborg at 9:45, with pickup at Høng Station at 10:15. Expected return: Høng Station around 17:45, Kalundborg Station around 18:15.

Practical information: The tour requires good walking ability - bring sturdy shoes. There are toilets at the care museum and on the bus, but not on Sprogø, so use the toilet before departure. Food and drink are not permitted on the island. The ticket can be transferred but not refunded. Upon arrival at the bus, simply state your name.
