Hans Engell, former defence and justice minister and long-time political commentator for TV2 News and Ekstra Bladet, gives a lecture on Danish politics today: what goes on behind the scenes at Christiansborg, how the relationship between government and opposition actually works, and what drives the political agenda.

With over 40 years of experience and a broad network of sources, he places current issues such as the war in Ukraine, the refugee crisis, inflation, EU cooperation and the fight against gang crime in a larger context - and distinguishes between what is politically significant and what is merely media noise.
