Jane & Shane - Celebrating 25 Years of Musical Partnership

Jane Clark from England and Shane Donnelly from Ireland met by chance in 2000 during a jam session at an Irish pub in a country new to them both. A violin and a guitar found each other - and the duo Jane & Shane was born.

Twenty-five years later, they celebrate the milestone with a concert blending their most beloved melodies with brand new songs written especially for the occasion. The music draws on Irish and British folk traditions with elements of classical and jazz: lyrical ballads and Celtic-inspired melodies with a touch of swing. Their career took off in earnest after collaborating with Niels Hausgaard, a friendship that continues to this day.
